Peter Graham joined MBL in 2016 after 10 years with Just-A-Start Corporation in Cambridge, MA where he first served as a Project Manager followed by 8 years as Director of Real Estate Development. He was responsible for all aspects of an active development division with over $7 million in annual development activity covering a wide range of development endeavors.  Peter's experience in affordable housing spans almost two decades and has included work involving complex layered financing of both market rate and affordable housing with a focus on Low Income Housing Tax Credits. Peter is first and foremost a problem solver and is committed to helping clients achieve their goals with straight forward carefully conceived solutions.

Tilman Lukas has over 33 years' experience in construction and housing development. Tilman served as Director of Development and Assistant Executive Director for Operations at HAP, Inc. for 13 years. For the past 20 years, he has been a partner, officer and Principal of MBL Housing & Development. Tilman's expertise includes knowledge of all types of housing development including market rate housing, low and moderate income housing, special needs housing, and single room occupancy housing (SRO). He has extensive knowledge in housing policy, affordable housing development, housing construction, project management, environmental regulations and lead paint abatement. 

JooRi Johnson has worked at MBL Housing & Development since 2009. JooRi is a senior project manager and assists with multiple tax credit housing projects. Prior to joining MBL, JooRi received a law degree from Western New England University and is a certified mediator. She has served on the boards of the Valley CDC and F.U.S.E., a non-profit dedicated to the advocacy of children in need of foster/adoptive homes.

Michael Shafer. Michael Shafer has over twenty five years of professional housing and community development experience serving as an affordable Housing Developer, Housing and Community Development Lead, Senior Managing Developer, Deputy Program Manager, Executive Director, and technical assistance provider. He has extensive experience with structuring programs and projects which address a broad range of community development objectives; including affordable housing, community revitalization, economic development, family self-sufficiency, and permanent supportive housing for people with special needs. His knowledge of HUD programs, and associated regulatory requirements, has allowed him to implement a wide range of affordable housing development projects.
